Sep.- Mr. Mondo Secter, the president of the Santa Fe International Sister City Association, visited the International Goodwill Cities Association in Tokyo to find a sister city in Japan, and was introduced to the castle town Tsuyama. Tsuyama is similar to Santa Fe in population, geography and history. Both Tsuyama and Santa Fe are known for cultural preservation.
1992
May- Mr. Mond Secter asked Tsuyama about starting a sister city relationship.
Jul. - Mr. Sam Pick, the mayor of Santa Fe, wrote a letter to Tsuyama to promote a friendship exchange.
Sep. - The mayor of Tsuyama wrote to the mayor of Santa Fe that the citizens of Tsuyama wanted to promote a friendship exchange.

1993
May - The 10 person delegation from Santa Fe came to Tsuyama, visiting school and cultural facilities and having a home stay.
Jun. - 30 people from Miyasaka Tsuyama Coin Drams Preservation Group performed in Santa Fe during America Japan Week, which was held in Phoenix, Arizona. Two city officials went with them.
Oct. - An official delegation including Mayor Nagare and 2 city councilors visited Santa Fe.
1994
Feb.- The Tsuyama - Santa Fe Friendship Society was established.
Jul. - A 10 person music observation delegation, including a city official and a reporter, attended the Santa Fe Opera and the Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival.
Oct. - 32 Pueblo Indians from Santa Fe performed in Tsuyama.
1995
Apr.- An official delegation including Santa Fe Tsuyama Sister City Association President Mr. Arthur Olivas, Mayor Pro-tem Mr. Larry Delgado, and city councilors visited Tsuyama.
May- 138 people from the Tsuyama area, including 6 city officials and the Foundation for the Arts, the editing section manager of Sanyo Newspaper, visited Santa Fe along with America Japan Week. An exhibition of traditional arts, crafts, and cultural events was held.
1996
Nov.- Music and art director Heiichiro Oyama and 3 players were invited to perform the Santa Fe Music Festival in Tsuyama.
1997
Aug.- The first delegation of 32 students visited Santa Fe, accompanied by 3 adults.
Sep.- Photo exhibition by the student delegation.
Sep.- Tsuyama Josai Hole Town Museum was held and Ms. Cordelia Colonado showed the weaving of Santa Fe.
1998
Aug.- A second student delegation of 22 students visited Santa Fe, accompanied by 2 adults.
Sep.- The second student delegation held a photo exhibition.
1999
Aug.- A third student delegation of 19 students visited Santa Fe, accompanied by 2 adults.
2000
May.- A private tour group of 15 people including 9 students came to Tsuyama and had homestays.
Aug.- The fourth student delegation of 32 students visited Santa Fe accompanied by 2 adults.
Sep.- The fourth student delegation held a photo exibition.
Nov.- Three councilors of Tusyama City visied Santa Fe and paid a courtesy court to Mayor Delgado and the councilors of Santa Fe.
2001
Aug.- Hokuryo Junior High School started to have email excahnge with Monte del Sol Charter School through the intermediation of Mr. Arthur Olivas, President of Santa Fe Tsuyama Sister City Association.
Sep.- Although an adult delegation to Santa Fe had been planned on October, it was called off because of the terrorism occurred in the States on September 11th.
Nov.- Mr. Arthur Olivas, President of Santa Fe Tsuyama Sister City Association, came to Tsuyama and visited the city hall and Hokuryo Junior High School.
2002
Aug.- The fifth student delegation of 12 students visited Santa Fe accompanied by an adults.
Sep.- The fifth student delegation held a photo exibition at the municipal library.
2003
May.- 14 students and one parent accompanied by one adult of Monte Del Sol Chater School visited Tsuyama for the first time. They visited Hokuryo Junior High Shool and Sakuyo High School, had homestay at students' house of both schools.
Aug.- The seventh deligation of 8 students and 4 adults accompanied by one adult visited Santa Fe.
2004
Jun.- 8 students accompanied by one adult of Monte Del Sol Chater School visited Tsuyama. They visited Hokuryo Junior High Shool and Sakuyo High School, had homestay at students' house of both schools.
Aug.- The eighth deligation of 13 students and one adult accompanied by one adult visited Santa Fe.
2005
May.-Setting up the booth to introduce the products of Santa Fe at Tsuyama castle festival.
The doughter of Santa Fe mayer and her husband visited tsuyama and introduced the products and staples of Santa Fe region to spread the Santa Fe culture.
2006
Apr.-14 students from Santa Fe and 1 gruduated student and 2 chaperones visited Tsuyama and participated in cultural interchange class at Hokuryo junior high and Sakuyo high school. They have had homestay in Tsuyama region for a few days.
Apr.-Received the document from the delegation representative which state David Coss, Santa Fe Mayer set up Apr 15 as "Syster city Tsuyama Day".
May.-The secretary general of Tsuyama-Santa Fe friendship society visited Santa Fe and handed over the personal letter, which was sent from Tsuyama city mayer to David Coss, Sant Fe mayer.
2007
Nov.-Author Olivas visited Tsuyama.
2008
Apr.-17 students, 1 escorting teacher and 3 chaperones visited Tsuyama and participated in some cultural exchange class at Hokuryo junior high and Sakuyo high school. They also experienced homestay in Tsuyama region.
Jul.-The 12th delagation from Tsuyama consisted of 1 high school student and 4 adults visited Santa Fe.
2009
Aug.-Setting up the booth to introduce Santa Fe at Tsuyama local beer festival as the 10th anniversary friendship event.
Nov.Connected Robot contest in Tsuyama and Japan night in Santa Fe to the internet on the spot broadcasting, Kuwayama, tsuyama city mayer and David Coss, Santa Fe mayer exchanged thier massage. Santa Fe students who joined "Japan night " remoted the calligraphy robot lacated to Tsuyama robot contest place as the 10th anniversary friendship event.
Nov.-Mr Author Olivas visited Tsuyama and joined tea ceremony as the cultural experience event.
2010
May.-21 stutdents, 1 escorting teacher and 4 chaperones from Santa Fe visited Tsuyama and did homestay for 3days. They visited Hokuryo junior high school and Sakuyo high school and enjoyed some intercultural classes.
2011
Mar.-10 students and 2 escorting teachers and 1 interpreter from SFSAS visited Tsuyama and did homestay for 4 days. They visited Chusei elementary school and joined some international exchange learning classes.
Oct.-Exhibited the gift from Santa Fe above-mentioned at the city holl entrance for 3 months.
2012
Jul.-The 14th delegation consisted of 10 junior high students of tuyama region and 3 leaders joined summer camp as SFSAS including 6 days homestays.
2013
May.-Japan trip tour of Monte del sol charter school at Santa Fe
10 students, 2 teachers , and 1 parent and his son visited Tsuyama. They joined the class of Tsuyama and Sakuyo high school and Hokuryo junior high school and both students promoted better understanding and friendship through the intercultural classes.
2014
Jul.-The 15th friendship delegation consisted of 6 students and 2 chaperones from Tusyama visited Santa Fe and Joined SFSAS summer camp including 5 days homestay.
2015
Sep.-The Display the exhibition panel to promote the friendship
with Santa Fe.
Jan.-Presentaiton to the Tsuyama commercial high school to understand the Santa Fe culture and the relationship with Tsuyama.
2016
Jun.-Japan trip tour of TPM high school at Santa Fe, 14 students and 3 leaders visited Tsuyama. They joined the Tsuyama higashi and Tsuyama commercial high school activity and experienced 4 days homestay in Tsuyama.
2017
Jul.-The 16th friendship delegation consisted of 10 students and 2 chaperones from Tusyama visited Santa Fe and Joined SFSAS summer camp including 9 days homestay.
Nov.- Tsuyama-Santa Fe Friendship Association held the photo exbition of delegation.
2018
